We especially bring this to your member's attention as it has been observed that vendors in Bulawayo are offering for sale Orchids, Cycads, Treeferns, Flamelilys and other protected species. We have also observed the use of club moss and ferns in hanging baskets. These plants have been illegally removed from their natural environment, and this practice threatens our natural heritage. Members of the Public should inform the Police, National Parks or the Matobo Conservation Society if they come across any of these illicit dealers - and you should not buy from them!
